Riot Games Arcane Premiere

The Project

b1n4ry, through VTProDesign, worked to program the Hextech Crystal in the activation done for Riot Gaming’s Arcane Premiere. The Hextech Crystal was a kinetic sculpture utilizing projections, lighting, and sound effects all changed and “activated” when guests to the premiere teamed up to unlock the exciting payoff.

Using TouchDesigner b1n4ry worked to program LED Animations of embedded lighting, projection map and trigger content for both the mapped 3D object and the projection scrim overhead, cue the sound effects and immersive audio, and send cues to a GrandMA board for the scenic lighting effects.
